Weapon power?

Hello.

I think that weapon devastation is too bad in some cases.

i did thry to attack runways by 500 kg bombs,or penetrating bombs and other weapons.

If i hit runway by 500kg bomb,or penetration bomb,from 2-3000 meters altitude,runway shud be unsefull in the impact area.Right now,planes can take of and landing yust 1 or 2 left and right meters from the point of impact.

Runway shud be simply cutted at that part.

There is also bug.Sometimes i bomb the runway,and people just reconect and dont see the halles.What is the point to attack the airport than?

Destruction of the airport and runways is one of the hardest loses for eny army from ww2,but in FC2 its not given attention to that.

If i destroy all vehicels and airport equpment,planes still have ILS when lending,why?Some units are inmortal.

Hope there is going to be FC3,and ther is not going to problems like this.

If you bomb the runway online, other than reconnecting, clients can take off on the taxiway or a nearby road.

Is there really an issue here regarding multiplayer? I don't think so.

 

If you want bases to be shutdown then triggers should do the trick, but most multiplayer mission designers don't want a scenario where one side can no longer enter the battle.

I wish that damage stayed in multiplayer even if someone reconnects. It would be nice to have it "fixed" only when the mission restarts. If that happens they could respawn at a different base. In that case it would be nice to know before you entered the mission.

I dont want to make situation that only one side can fly,and the other one not,and than to wait server restart.If one side lose airports,and cant fly,thay are losers and than server shud load new mission.If I destroy fuel trucks,and few fuel tanks,and there is fire,refueling shud be late,or something like that.

 

Its not problem that planes do take off and landing from taxi ways if runway is destroyed,but taxi ways are narow,and people must pay more attention during take off and landing for possible crash with other pilots.And landing to local roads its not so nice for the pilots.

And if one side have two airports,and one of them is destroyed,than strikers and fighters shud share same airport.Than fighters cant do rearm and refuel on near by airport,thay have to fly 100 km back to do so.Than thay will have interest to deffend airports.

 

Lets not turn the story wich way we shud play.Lets talk abouth weapon power.

 

Exaple.In new mod for MiG 21,i use tactical nuke.I hit the plane on the airport,and that plane,hit by nuke is destroyed,same as everything around airport.But the plane beside the one wich is hit by the nuke is damaged,but still on one peace.Thats what i am talk abouth.
