on and off screen using Displayport adapter???

Hi all,

 

Title says it all really.

 

I have 3 x 23 inch connected to a HD5850 using eye finity res of 5760x1080. One monitor on an Active display port adapter (the same on as in this post: http://widescreengamingforum.com/node/11274) and one on HDMI and finally one on DVI.

 

It seems that i am not alone in the mysterious 'on/off' syndrome caused by using the Active Display Port adapter to give eye finity resolutions.

Who else is having this problem? From what i see there seems to be no common 'constant' at fault that is identifiable by hundreds / thousands from the community at large meaning that trying to search for one is pointless and i should probably just go back to the single 32 inch!
