joey45 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Yup, working radios. So, what else has people noticed then.. why not use this thread and tell everybody instead of clogging up the forums.... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. enigma6584 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I've noticed that ground units actually stop and assume a defensive position when they detect you. When they think it is clear, they move on. I even (I kid you not) had one anti-air vehicle stalk me in a small area. Very, very cool.

Fuby Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I think the big part BS1 owners get besides the engine and graphics..is the quick mission feature that the A10c has.. you can now make as many different scenarios as you wish on the fly.. that in itself is worth the upgrade.. although I own the steam version.. I can't wait for the fix.. i will buy it outright.. STILL the best damn Heli in the air on a PC... Games-Survival.com

Seriously, I just bought the upgrade and wish I had gone ahead and bought the whole thing just so I don't have to mess with having to install BS 1. I will probably buy a full version copy in the end. I don't have it on Steam but if I did I would just buy the full BS 2 from ED and be done with it. andysim Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 your AI wingman will now attack Buildings when asked. Now if we could just get buildings to show as targets in the rest of the sim we will be set hehe.
jib Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 your AI wingman doesn't stick to you like glue. if you stop suddenly he will over shoot and some times come very close to crashing with you. I Agree,I'm having a real hassle trying to uninstall 1.02/reinstall 1.01. Patrick
enigma6584 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Have you all noticed all the nice little things that come with the new and improved map terrain? I've noticed the more realistic contours to the terrain, many realistic little valleys, hills...plenty of places for a helicopter to fly NOE and be a challenge...not to mention good cover for attacking. Rivers actually have banks alongside them. Just beautiful!!
Cowboy10uk Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I Agree,I'm having a real hassle trying to uninstall 1.02/reinstall 1.01. Don't worry about uninstalling, just rename the program folder, eagle dynamics to eagle dynamics 1.02 or something. Then just open disc and run setup. If you let disc auto run, it won't give you option to install. Install vanilla, run and activate Then install BS2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Fighter pilots make movies, Attack pilots make history, Helicopter pilots make heros. :pilotfly: Corsair 570x Crystal Case, Intel 8700K O/clocked to 4.8ghz, 32GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 MHZ Ram, 2 x 1TB M2 drives, 2 x 4TB Hard Drives, Nvidia EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW, Maximus x Hero MB, H150i Cooler, 6 x Corsair LL120 RGB Fans And a bloody awful Pilot
