trashcanman
is eos (in lock on) affected by clouds, weather, fog? i believe that afterburners & aspect angle affect eos detection probability so it would make sense what about ir missiles? are their seeker heads degraded by clouds & fog? jeebus, i think i'm becoming obsessed with this game :)
GGTharos
I don't think the environment has a huge effect at this time - looking at the ground may (not certain) aspect does, and throttle setting does also. Unfortunately clouds and fog do not affect performance I think, but I might be wrong (on the other hand, your typical missile shot is close enough that it doesn't matter, but the 5-6nm shots using ET's should definitely see those missiles just fail to lock at that range) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
