Hard to tell due to the low resolution but it seems that your cooling liquid temp was way past redline. Also your oil pressure seemed high, but as i said, the resolution makes it hard to tell.

Here's my first TO/L

Could not get the aileron and tail surface animations to appear, probably something in my video settings.

Love the module, hope that they might expand it someday.

Got my control animations back :) Also gave me the chance to remap my controls, I am now on P51-D Real settings, take off and landing very different, along with very different results ;)

 

On real settings, it just seems to fly a whole lot better......

OK... Sunday I got my P51 module and with the help of my squad mate Myg I proceed on this adventure... at first I had 4-5 attempts to start the engine in single player and failed... apparently I was giving it too much throttle... then I managed to start the engine on multi player but server crashed due to network before even taxing... so another squad mate (Budd here) made a server on which this lucky flight took place :D .

I would love to post a vid of my first P51 flight but it was ugly. Real ugly. lol I am using the word "flight" in the broadest possible terms here.

 

I am getting better though. :thumbup: Practice makes perfect.

Compared to mine and some others I've seen they show some good promise - I used to zig-zag all over the shop - you're keeping her straight. It just takes practise as you'll no doubt know...

I've actually been using DCS P51d and the A2A Civil version 50 / 50 :-)

 

The A2A model requires a lot more of right rudder during takeoff, but it doesn't "run away" from you so easily...

 

I love both :-)
