This happens as to the subject Title. I have tried a few things that would normally stop this, but nothing does. It is always there. It happens at the off position and also at the one inch pre-set before starting the engine.

But this visual movement does not seem to be a problem effecting the sim or the throttle's function.

I do start-up according to what Wags posted for Beta 1:

Sounds like Dirty contacts in your throttle. Use RCTRL-ENTER in cockpit to see what input your controller is providing to the sim.

Nate

I use that control stick, brake, throttle monitor all the time.

Actually my CH Control Manager outputs raw data as numerical values.

I tried a deadzone of 10 within Options/Controls but it made no difference so I reset it back to zero. It functions good enough for me.

What do you use, an alcohol based cleaner like to Radio Shack?

I better call CH Products and see what to do, if it is necessary. My Pro Throttle is 2 years old.

Yes, I have seen this visual jitter before, long time ago, but I don't remember what it was to.

Edited later: It jitters just a bit one to two number range, like 123 to 124, to my CH Control Monitor raw data. It occurs on both ends of the slider. Its no biggy to me. I just thought it might be a bug or something. In mid range in the cockpit it stays steady.

Thanks

I get the same thing in my X-52 throttle. There is a tiny jiggle in it along certain points along it - I can see it in the Saitek Control panel but this doesn't seem to translate into an issue with other flight sims that I played previously. The P51 throttle seems quite sensitive to this very minor jiggle though. I found it helped when I changed the throttle in options to slider - it still jiggles a bit in the game but it's not affecting manifold pressure really anymore.
