Weta43 Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I saw a news article a few years ago about some guy in England who built a car around a Merlin (from a spitfire). the article was about him taking it over to an autobahn to see what he could get out of it... (apparently it was set up so that reverse just changed the direction of the drive, but the gears & ratios were the same.
