F-15 altitude tape goes wonky

Sometimes - it seems when flying over very uneven terrain - the F-15 altitude tape (HUD right side) get totally jerky (slideshow like) and even out of synch with the altimeter. Is this modelling RL behaviour over mountainous terrain or, am I looking at something else?

It may be that the terrain elevation changes abruptly - not sure though. I am familiar with the effect you're deescribing, but it never bothered me.

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

I'm always relieved to find out it's not my system/installation. I've done a fair bit of adding-on, tweaking, etc., lately and feared I might have upset something.

Thank you for clearing this up, Han. You've got a great product - I'm glad I discovered it.
