EtherealN Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Simple: make yourself a mission with aircraft from both, set them as client, then start an MP server (even if playing solo), and you'll be able to switch mid-mission. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester

104th_Maverick Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) What if FC3 and DCS: MiG-21 get released at the same time? How can I fly both of them at the same time? What should I fly first? If you mean how can you have them both installed on your machine and go between both of them then.... All future DCS modules will integrate with FC3 via DCS World as far as I understand so it should not be too difficult. almonds Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 What should I fly first? your threads are funny DCS Mig-21 for sure  "The art of simulation design is about understanding limited fidelity... ...compromises must be made. Designers have to consider cost vs. fidelity and processor time vs. fidelity. Additional trade-offs must be made between graphics, AI, flight models, number of units and more... ...never ask the pilot what he wants to learn because he too will end up building an airplane. Instead, ask the pilot what he needs to learn." -Gilman "Chopstick" Louie
Grimes Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Simple: make yourself a mission with aircraft from both, set them as client, then start an MP server (even if playing solo), and you'll be able to switch mid-mission. :D You can do that in single player also. If there are multiple client aircraft in a mission the player is prompted to select which one they want at the start of the mission. You can also switch between the different slots by hitting Escape> Briefing> Select Role. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
