Reflected
Very strange..I`ve been flying the Mustang at Max power without ever killing it. Then yesterday, I changed some settings - not the realism settings though - and it all changed. During my first 2 dogfight missions I gave max power and RPM and my engine died within a minute. What are the operating limits? According to the original manual I have it`s: WEP: 67" 3000 Takeoff, MIL: 61" 3000 Max continuous: 46" 2700 Cruise: 42" 2400 What are the time constraints associated to these? Or does it depend more on the temperatures? Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
saburo_cz
Speed is essential. If you fly fast you can fly at 61" 3000rpm as long as you have fuel. But at low speeds air flowing throught radiator is not sufficient to cool coolant fluid and oil and engine could be killed wery fast (means before time limits).
