Avernus
I've noticed if i first join an aircraft, The input config seems to be affected. This enables me to use the pedals for turning etc. Are we going to be able to configure these actions in the ground unit category when the final version is released? Atm, using RAlt+J after selecting a plane , seems a bit quirky
jib
yeah I want to be able to configure these axis controls to. I might be able to mod it in for now. jib
right, I have found out the if you add: axisCommands = { {action = iCommandPlaneSelecterHorizontalAbs, name = "Rotate Turret"}, {action = iCommandPlaneSelecterVerticalAbs, name = "Turret Elevation"}, {combos = {{key = "JOY_RZ"}, }, action = iCommandPlaneRudder, name = "Rudder"}, }, } to [user]\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\ground_unit\joystick - I added it to my rudder peddels file. then you can use an axis to control left right movement of ground vehicles and even set-up deadzones and curves in the axis options. I'm off to figure out how to work the accelerator! 1 Mods I use: KA-50 JTAC - Better Fire and Smoke - Unchain Rudder from trim KA50 - Sim FFB for G940 - Beczl Rocket Pods Updated! jib
I have found that pitch is the axis for accelerator and brake. add it to your axis assignments of you joystick or peddels file if you want an analog gas peddel! {combos = {{key = "JOY_Y", filter = {saturationX = 1, saturationY = 1, deadzone = 0.1, invert = false, slider = true, curvature = {0}}}, }, action = iCommandPlanePitch, name = "Pitch"}, Edited October 21, 2012 by jib Mods I use: KA-50 JTAC - Better Fire and Smoke - Unchain Rudder from trim KA50 - Sim FFB for G940 - Beczl Rocket Pods Updated! Avernus
Ah i see, very good! The only issue with this is the neutral position for the velocitator, but it beats having to use the back door approach to loading the cfg. on a side note I cant help but wonder if playing with the Nvg gain cfg lines might have any effect with ca :]
RagnarDa
Great find! Wish I'd seen it before I broke a button on my stick while trying to panicky drive my Hummer away from some T-72s chasing me... :( DCS AJS37 HACKERMAN There will always be bugs.
