New Chair advice needed

Hi all, I hope you can help me, my current office chair is on its last legs due to over use, I am after a chair that I can adjust up and down and lean backwards, but without wheels. Currently whenever I press my rudder pedals, I find myself moving backwards which is rather annoying. Sadly all the chairs I can find come with wheels.

Anyone found any good office chairs that suit us simmers that they can recommend?

Looking at around the £100 - £150 mark

I would agree with TINTIN

getting a car seat for my sim was one of the best purchases

Cheap as well, for under £30 from a scrap dealer, and go for a non electric one so you can adjust it manually :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys, have to say the idea of a car seat has got me thinking. If I get a frame made, I could also add brackets or attaching plates for Komodos heli controls. Fingers crossed should be cheapish as well.

Rich, if I pm you, would it be possible to let me know what size brackets or bolt positions I would need to add to chair frame.

For the wheel issue, I placed my chair on a section of really thick carpetting with a non-skid pad underneath (over hardwood floor). It does not move an inch even though my pedals are braced against the wall.

car seats... please go to my bio and look at the sim pit folder. At 400.00 cnd the seat it was kind of pricy but worth every cent... it's a joy to sit in and after hours of fun, no fatigue!
