marcos
According to the flight manual, weapon events should come up as Markpoint Z. Are these your weapon events, or enemy weapon events? Is there anyway of using SAM launches or RWR to acquire SAM location markpoints?
Eddie
Mark Z is the last position against which you employed weapons (as determined by the IFFCC). marcos
Thanks. So do you basically have to find SAMs yourself?

Dejjvid
SAM's with a radar is fairly easy to find. Use your RWR. IRL the pilots hopefully have intel on the enemy positions. And they know where the dangerous areas are, and A-10's very, very rarely go on DEAD missions. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
marcos
IRL the pilots hopefully have intel on the enemy positions. This is why I always cheat in mission editor. I don't see the point of being a sitting duck for something hiding in the trees in camouflage.
dynamocl
Why don't you turn labels on as well while you are at it? :) It is the bad guy's job to hide in trees and surprise you. Keep your eyes open, fly above the engagement zone, and send in the SEAD birds!
WildBillKelsoe
there is a remarkable tutorial to reverse locate the SAM's with pretty good accuracy. But it involves getting in line of weapons.. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=77205 Edited October 24, 2012 by WildBillKelsoe AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
