storm ready to slap NYC and eastcoast NJ

i could be affected here as they estimate possible mass power outage across the states of NYC , NJ and PA.

and recent data shows it could cross over nearing my county the eye of the storm, fingers cross it dies down though.

 

so if am not around in the forums youll know why no power.

This might get interesting, we've had some crazy weather this summer w/ the tornado warnings and what not on the south shore of Long Island. (Suffolk county)

Bloomberg is an alarmist... Remember what happened last time? Almost nothing in NYC despite shutting down subways and losing businesses lots of money. Vermont, of course was a different story.

 

Good to be prepared, but no reason to be alarmed...It'll be windy and rainy. Fortunately, unless a tree falls on your head neither of those are fatal to humans

better to prep than with a nothing will happen attitude,

those are the people that get caught with there pants down.

The problem though is: what happens if they don't issue an alert and it does get serious?

 

When making decisions regarding the safety of millions of people it's a good idea to take a threat seriously, especially since it will be very difficult to take action if it becomes necessary once it has already hit.

 

Much better to be too cautious ten times than to be lax once.

they estimate the storm as 800 miles across in width, its a monster.

will engulf the most of my state this hurricane

big breakers hitting shore line, sandy is still 200 miles out in the ocean.

 

they now estimate 90mph winds
