DCS Quality GPS Simulation

Razor5-1

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm looking for a simulation of a GPS system in the same standard as DCS. I realise that I have to look at FSX/ X-Plane for this. From my research it seems that Carenado have done some GPS stuff included in their aircraft. Also flight 1 have a T182T GPS add-on. I believe milviz also have a GPS in their C310R.

I'd like peoples opinions on what is the most advanced/lifelike GPS equipped aircraft add-on that currently exists.

Thanks

RealityXP have modelled the Garmin 430 and 530 to an extremely high quality for FSX, FS9 and XPlane. They come with a tool to add the gauges to the 2D cockpits of any aircraft you choose, and some third party planes (Carenado etc) allow you to replace the stock GPS with the RealityXP GPS in the virtual cockpit.

RealityXP's GNS430/530s are known for their accuracy and many real life pilots use them to familiarise themselves with the real Garmins. Definitely worth it imo.

Let me know if you have any questions :)
