predator-nz
Hi I have managed to get a old CDU out of a F14 I think?? and I am going to interface it in to my cockpit which I have managed to do with a Leo card. My problem is a can not get the back lighting to work. Has anyone managed to get something like this to work before. So far I have tryed 5V and 12V on the + - terminals. Deadman
The El Sheet is probably fried https://www.shapeways.com/shops/a-10c-warthog-supplies https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans. Dropship Pilot
You are aware of the fact that you can't simply apply a DC voltage to Electroluminiscence sheet to make it light up? EL sheets are usually driven by an AC voltage (60V@350Hz for example) provided by an inverter. You should try to find a manual or someone who can tell you the exact spec for this. Cheers, Stefan

predator-nz
Yer I wasn't sure what power supply would run the EL sheet but AC voltage makes sence I haven't come across one of these before. Thanks for your feed back. I might just have to put in some LEDs
