Is there a way of finding out which shelter one is placed in when one start in a MP session?

It would make it easier to navigate on the ground when you know where you are starting.

Yes, but using the F10 isnt realistic and as nrj1c states it is not always on.

Regarding using the app, which is very good by the way, it doesnt help you unless you know where your start point is.

For now F11 view can't be disabled. Other than that, ask for permission to taxi to get a general idea of where the runway is.

With the high detail airports (Batumi, Sakumi, Senaki, etc) you should be able to follow the signs.

Id say use F10 and put the map on sat view to see runwaynumbers and such.

Im still wondering why this isnt set as default instead. As well as a a sat-view option in the missioneditor.

A decent missionbuilder knows about these things and should keep these things in mind with his settings when hosting a public server.

If not, then i think the builder is selfish or a twat that has trouble with tying his own shoes.
