marcos
If you do a system restore, will you lose a DCS update? Edited November 5, 2012 by marcos
MTFDarkEagle
Off course. Why not? That's the point of system restore, so you go back 100% to a previous system state? Druid_
I don't think windows system restore keeps a log of all of the changes done to the various applications installed. So DCSW will remain unchanged. It's more for restoring system critical files. It will however keep track of all windows updates done I believe. i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q

ED Team c0ff Posted November 5, 2012 ED Team Share Posted November 5, 2012 So what do I do to update? Thought it was automatic with 1.2.1? Use 'Update DCS World' item in the Start Menu.
