Hey guys,

DCS World 1.2.2.

F15 failed to refuel. He was flying perfectly fine behind the tanker but there was no connect. F15 ended up falling from the sky due to NO FUEL... But being 10cm from the refuel boom, funney.

Track attached, watch from 1240 seconds.

Attention bump.

I know it's a little work to skip forward but there is no easy way to show this behaviour.

The F15 does take a long time to connnect up, especially the last 10cm. He probably ran out of fuel as a result of excessive manoevering whilst approaching the tanker (AI just love burners).

Thanks for the reply Druid.

Did you watch the track? The refueling pipe was practically within 10cm-5cm of the opening on the fighter jet and was flying perfectly behind the tanker, just as if it was refueling. It just seems that the "if X then connect pipe to plane" conditions are a bit tough... He was SOOO close...

And yeah, that AI sure likes to burn fuel like a mfcker... :/ Kinda stupid as bread.
