Polish developers are known that they have a very good eye for story-telling and what a good single player campaign shouldn't lack off. - I hope this won't be just "warmed-up-crap" like all others of this 'hyped' releases of the last year. Erforce Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) Don't be fool, The Witcher 2 has some really nice graphics, but it's also a console game. Simple, assisted etc (far more enjoyable than farcry3 personally even mature scenes :D)... Cd Projekt RED will probably not release a PC-Mac only game. Even if they wait the next console generation, our i3+ PCs already outperform them. I think it will be another dumb-candy eye game. But anyway, i like the "ready when ready" it's a good mentality, like Soon™ Maybe a good surprise? Cowboy10uk Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Nice looking Trailer, and I love the Cyberpunk RPG, been playing it for years, hell I have spent ages, just reading the manuals and books, just for the story's in there, rather than playing it. :) If they can bring it off, it could be stunning, although while I got witcher, I wasn't too impressed. Again nice graphics its just the gameplay sucked. :) Only time will tell. Cyberpunk on the other hand is an RPG based on a pen and paper RPG and we haven't seen one of these in a while. They have more freedom here, though I guess if they intend to be true to the original, the players will be dying a lot. :)
agrasyuk Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 The Witcher was based on a book, hence some solutions in gameplay/story were done the way they were, as they needed to reflect what was in the book. based on book which happened to be one of my favorite fantasy books. more over the writer was involved in the development of game storyline. playing it was a treat (i actually did it with polish voice, reading subtitles), watching the opening trailer i was remembering the actual word from book. i did not touch the second part yet regardless this 2077 has very little to do with anything witcher related.CP RPG would be nice and i will be keeping my out for it, but the trailer IMHO is not very impressive and does not promise a lot Anton.
