DCS World stops functioning after update on Windows 7

Goodevening,

 

After a windows update DCS stops functioning after you have made a succesfull connection to a host. I've installed it yesterday and i had some flights with A-10C and P-51 on various servers (mostly on STP IX) You get the "DCS Stops functioning" message from windows and says that it needs to shut down.

 

If i host a game myself it doesn't give a problem. only when i enter another persons/group server

 

I've added a TXT of the problem but im not so far into the system that i know what the problem is.

sry that i dont have any solution or better comments in that case but im in that same boat with you.

STP guys downgraded their servers in case of stability i guess.

Quax´s server was really good to play for me but i havent seen it for a while.

i guess some bs and a-10 veterans retreat from (public) hosting/playing cause of that mp problems.

 

for my part i dont want any new aircraft i "simply" want a stable MP function, some online content and a final CA....but this is another story :cry:

Well i do figured out a solution (with browsing through this forum), but it's not a proper one. I deleted my Network.cfg (Search for it in your My documents and then choose the one thats located in the folder called DCS) and this seemed to work to gain access to the servers again. The Network.CFG will be generated again as u make a new connection to one of the servers, so no harm is done to the game itself
