Oggii80 Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 So, I've got this, it's working, but I'm having a hard time tweaking the curves so my face doesn't go flying all over the cockpit. Anyone got any example settings that they used? I'll keep experimenting and if I come up with a good solution, I'll post it, but I'd like to hear from some of you that have it as well.
sagrzmnky Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I tried it and in the end I went with the Trackir.
seldridge1960 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Same here. I could never get the application to be stable for more than a couple of minutes. My TrackIR with the Pro Clip is solid as a rock. Can't recommend it enough Birdstrike = Chicken Sandwich!
Toolboy77 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 (edited) I too fought with this for months and now I've purchased TrackIR5. But in the end I had to use a massive dead zone (between 10 and 20 I think) on pitch and yaw so i could at least limit shaking in the neutral position and read cockpit displays. Even then I couldn't eliminate all of it enough for it to be useful. The interesting thing though is that I never had a problem with roll or Z (zoom) axis...those were smooth as silk and very stable...not sure why that is!
