16th Widowmakr Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Is there a tutorial or specific section in the manual that details step by step instructions for adding steerpoints or waypoints in the CDU. i.e. you have co-0rdinates of an enemy tank from the F10 map and you want to create a waypoint using the Lat/Long displayed when you click on the enemy vehicle. FreeFall Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Read thru this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=100562 Maybe it is not completely what you are looking for, but there are some links that might be useful.
El Hadji Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Don't have the link right now (at work) but Google "DCS Creating a flight plan" and you will find a step-by-step instruction written by Snoopy in pdf format. Its available somewhere here but I'm on mobile right now. If you can't find it, I'll provide the link later! Cheers! EDIT: As you can see from the link posted above I'm still struggling with it, but the video helped. Revelation Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 There are a few videos on Youtube. It really is easy once you go through it once or twice and it changed the way I conduct attacks now. It is also a great way to kill targets when visibility is limited and you have a JTAC giving you gps coords. Win 10 Pro 64Bit | 49" UWHD AOC 5120x1440p | AMD 5900x | 64Gb DDR4 | RX 6900XT
