i was flying along in an Su-27 on the AEF server, and suddenly exploded for apparently no reason. after reviewing the track and acmi file, i can't figure out why i exploded at 9:39:04. no missile hit me, no one was shooting at me, and no one was near me. is this a bug? i've attached the acmi file. the track file was too big to upload as an attachment, even when compressed.

I dont have a computer right now to check acmi with, but one way for this to happen is if there is network lag or packet loss. Thus a missile was maybe launched, but your computer did not know because of packet loss. Then, after thwe server sees missile impact, it sends message to your computer saying you are dead. Then, boom.

i see. that makes sense. i had downed an F-15 maybe a minute before, and he fired no missiles, which i thought was strange. maybe he really did, but my game client didn't get the message until it hit me. thanks.

Someone else complained of this in a blue SU-25T. Probably something buggy going on as we had just reintroduced Tankers and AWACS into that mission.

So the client throws out this sudden TSPI data for a missile because it never got the packet it was actually launched? That makes no sense.
