SU25T Unguided Anti-Tank Munitions

Hi fellas,

 

I have to admit I am a bit of a tard when it comes to Russian ATG munitions (Apart from the missiles, im fine with those) and what their best uses are. NATO everything I am ok with.

 

Now as I understand it the RBK weapons are cluster bombs. Ok thats fine.

 

But are these suitable for busting tanks? I have tried the RBK-250 as this is specified as being multipurpose, while they seem great for trucks, no matter how many I drop or how accurate my aim is. I just cant seem to bust tanks with them.

 

So what (in your opinion\experience) unguided munitions that the SU25T carries would be suitable for engaging groups of MBT class level armored targets.

Only reason I ask is I play often on the 104th server and a number of their missions specify no guided ATG munitions and ive been forced to wean myself off of the vikhr and KH25's :D

The Vikhr is a helluva tank busting weapon, the others, not so much.

It seems that Abrams are too tough to be destroyed by the Russian AT cluster bombs. T-72s brew up nicely.

 

All all general purpose bombs should work just fine. I love the 4-racks of FAB-100s.

Use TV-Bombs - at 10+km range they make for very good stand-off weapons in the absence of missiles. They are fire-and-forget so might not fall foul of the 104th restriction - you'll have to make sure about that.
