Taproot Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Hello As topic says, I can't see the pov axis on the joystick in the profiler program. When I hover mouse over the POV, the blue line relays over to something called "minibutton". In other words, I have no north, east, west, south buttons. 4 buttons I really need.... Anyone know how I can add them to the pov? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

orobo Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 What Haukka said. There are no N S E W buttons there, just two axis and the "minibutton" for pressing in. It's hard to find a use for the minibutton because you will almost certainly move the axis while trying to click it.

Deadzone least 30% will help bit. :joystick: Oculus CV1, Odyssey, Pimax 5k+ (i5 8400, 24gb ddr4 3000mhz, 1080Ti OC ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
orobo Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Yeah a little deadzone is necessary anyway to keep it from wandering on it's own. That sucker is touchy. Still I don't use the minibutton in A-10 because I know I'd send my TGP to BFE when I need it most. I ended up using it for parachute release in FC3 because I couldn't think of any reason I'd need to accurately slew a sensor and release a parachute at the same time.
Taproot Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 I see... Thanks. Are you happy with your HOTAS btw? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
orobo Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I like my G940 but I had to turn the feedback down quite a bit. On the ramp and takeoff roll there is no feeling of center but as airspeed increases I start to feel some resistance. To me that feels just like the small planes I've flown so yeah I like it. The P-51 is especially nice with the feedback to feel the stall approaching.
