TZeer
Have had a quick test of my new card now :) Very happy. Some small tests I have done so far: - Tbilisi, 1 unit on the ground, Kuky's increased visual range mod. Lowest FPS i get is about 95 FPS looking in any direction. With dual 580's I think I was down at about high 60 low 70. - Flying in a low populated area, 120-130 FPS in cockpit. Turning on the floodlight drops me to 90 FPS. With the dual 580's it took me down to around 60 FPS. My settings: 2560x1440 MSAA 2x HDR Normal Everything on high except water TSSAA is off Let me know if there is something specific you want me to check or test. Remember single screen only. Vlerkies
TZeer, run this track for a few minutes (3) just sitting on the runway, min and max fps. these were my results on 2 cards ATI 6990 Frames 2105 Time (ms)176796, FPS Min - 7, Max - 28, Average - 11.906 GTX 680 FTW 4Gb Frames 5533 Time (ms)182334, FPS Min- 24, Max - 55, Average - 30.345 Admitably the 680 bench was slightly longer (6 seconds), so a few more frames, but the difference is plain to see. This is on full game graphics settings, everything on high, turned on, and 1024 cockpit res, 8x msaa Single monitor 1920x1080.FPSreference.miz Edited March 24, 2013 by Vlerkies Thermaltake View 91, Z390 Gigabyte Aorus Ultra, i9 9900K, Corsair H150i Pro, 32Gb Trident Z 3200, Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 2080ti, Corsair AX1200i, Warthog A-10 Hotas, MFG Crosswind pedals, TiR5 Pro, HP Reverb Pro
TZeer
I tested your reference-mission and it's not possible to test the performance. If you hit your FPS key twice, you will get up an object count under the FPS. The object count is above 2000. And is clogging up the CPU. My "magic limit is about 1000-1200 objects before the CPU starts being a bottleneck. Above that and it doesn't matter how powerful my GPU is. But for reference, my FPS was never below 35 FPS. I can look around and make the FPS skyrocket.

_Dredd
Recieved the TITAN yesterday and spent all evening re tweaking all my sims. All I can say is it is amazing. No benchmarks to show yet but DCS wise I'm never below 60-80 FPS with 3 screens @ 5880x1080, Thats with everything on max. The weird thing is TSSAA is chopping about 20 FPS off so turning it off normal average FPS is in the 70-90 range (A-10 and P-51) it really skyrockets when flying SU-25T. On my 680 there was hardly a drop in FPS at all with TSSAA but on or off I was running around 35-45 FPS average. Probably just because it's the first release of he drivers for this card would be my guess. Edit: If anyone cares X-plane 10.2 x 64 using about 3.8GB vieo mem~close to max settings~ You still can't max this out on todays hardware. The shadows look like garbage as they did on my 680, not sure how to correct that yet.... Hey Slayer, How it the frame stutter over all monitors? There were some interesting reads on frame time latency at max resolutions and kepler driver engineering. Also is there a way you can view whether all VRAM is being used? Vlerkies
Yeah that will be interesting. I picked this up from around the web. Frame time deviation compared to the 690 NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN 6GB Performance Review - Page 16 Conclusion NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN 6GB Performance Review - Page 19 Compared to various Xfire/Sli setups NVIDIA GTX TITAN vs. SLI & Crossfire - Page 15 TITAN is a card built for people who want a top-tier solution but aren’t willing to compromise on in-game performance consistency. At this point in time and likely well into the future it is the best solution available for high performance, consistent, stutter-free gaming. Is that worth the cost of entry? It certainly should be. Not sure if you have tried or if its worth trying, look at the Ambient Occlusion option in the Global settings of the control panel. Because DCS can only use 2 cpu cores so the higher you're CPU MHz the better unless you have a really old graphics card m8 :joystick: YouTube :pilotfly: TimeKilla on Flight Sims over at YouTube.
