The_Pharoah Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 hi guys Apologies if this is elsewhere but could someone please help me understand how to use an x52 profile with DCS (for the A10C). I found and downloaded some x52 profiles off the DCS main website but am unsure how to make them work ie. I've loaded one into the profiles (SST icon was green) - do I then delete all the x52 joystick settings in DCS? cichlidfan Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Yes, you need to clear the column for the X-52. Make sure you do it for the correct mode. The in game profiles are separate for game and sim mode. Mr_Burns Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 I kept away from SST, had lots of issues and I programmed them directly into DCS. You can set a modifier, press the pinky, and then you can use every hat and button twice. I only have the pro but managed to map it pretty well, i found I never used the mic functions on the hotas so didnt programme it and then there were enough positions. I also dont have trackir yet so still used one HAT for POV. And didnt use the mode 1 / 2 or 3.
The_Pharoah Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 okay so I load up a profile in SST, go into DCS and remove all X52 joystick configs and I'm good to go?
