Cowboy10uk
Hi guys, now 1.2.3 has been released, can I ask what the procedure is for updating dcs world with a Helios setup. Never been in the situation where I had to think about it before. I'm guessing my monitor.lua file, and I think there's a script file I need. Is there anything else, so I don't lose my Helios setup and instrument locations when I update to 1.2.3 Thanks Cowboy10uk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Fighter pilots make movies, Attack pilots make history, Helicopter pilots make heros. :pilotfly: Corsair 570x Crystal Case, Intel 8700K O/clocked to 4.8ghz, 32GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 MHZ Ram, 2 x 1TB M2 drives, 2 x 4TB Hard Drives, Nvidia EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW, Maximus x Hero MB, H150i Cooler, 6 x Corsair LL120 RGB Fans And a bloody awful Pilot
cichlidfan
Except for your Monitor lua I would probably re-edit the export files or at least check them before copying backups over top of them. Using EMC to redo your exports might be a good choice, but it has never been tested on 1.2.3. JG14_Smil
I back up my .hpf, .bak, and .layout files for my profile. All you need to do is click the setup button in the DCS tab after an update. That is it. Edited February 26, 2013 by JG14_Smil
cichlidfan
All you need to do is click the setup button in the DCS tab after an update. That is it. That doesn't take care of viewport exports.
