LFCChameleon_Silk
=LFC= Chameleon's Mission Pack CA compatible and feel free to edit them to your hearts content but please give me credit in the mission notes. feedback is appreciated any updates will be added over time. Bitter Rivals - 1_10 Final edit of Bitter Rivals (unless something is broken), JTAC now has bunker locations for blue player and balancing is pretty well perfect with air support for each team being the difference... added P-51 to each side for air superiority. Siege of Khashuri - 1_05 COOP or hamburger hill style game, not randomized but combines radar SAM hunt with CAS for either side. Vladikavkaz Sams - 1_06 (Hot Weather) Really fun radar SAM hunt although not randomized, geared towards SU-25T players. Batumi H2H - 1_02 (Winter) COOP or head to head styled game, not randomized and was one of my first missions that i did, great for KA50 players but lacks a lot of polish. Tupsu
I haven't played all of them yet but I played Siege of Khasuri and I had hours of fun with it. It's also good mission for practicing SEAD and CAS. Try them out!

LFCChameleon_Silk
yes no problem the only issue is i have no other place to put the files, any ideas of a better site to host them at? I'm only using that one because after megaupload got taken out i hadn't found a suitable replacement. I will update my latest mission some critical bugs found in 1_03... not something i really want people to experience playing my mission for the first time :P EDIT: changed download links to split up the package and changed download location, best i can do for now. LFCChameleon_Silk
while there is no hill in the mission i chose to say hamburger hill not because of your mission dragon (I actually haven't played any of yours yet, although i know you put a ton of work into yours) but because both teams are throwing each other at each other in a full frontal assault, perhaps there is a better term but it is not the first time i have seen a game mode similar to this described this way, I wonder if Hank would be proud if i called it king of the hill. :megalol: I will add the files to the DCS website repository but only after i am satisfied that i will not be making any more changes, i mean i added bitter rivals 1.03 and 1 day later i have made so many changes that 1.03 is antiquated already and its probably not even been okay'd yet to be placed on the repository (although tbh i didn't check yet) once i am confident that things are in a final state i will begin to add them, for now i will provide my own personal links to the files, for anyone concerned over safety feel free to open the .MIZ with winrar and look through the files, its not like these are executable! I named my mission because of the little mountain near Vody. But nevertheless now the name is fitting because of type of mission too. :D Homepage: Spare-Time-Pilots DCS:BlackShark v1.0.2: BLINDSPOTs EditorMod DRAGONs ArmA2-Sounds DRAGONs BS1 TRAININGPACK DRAGONs MISSIONPACK [bS & FC2] DCS:World: TM WARTHOG PROFIL FOR BS2 DRAGONs BS2_TRAININGPACK DRAGONs TRAININGPACK DRAGONs MISSIONPACK

LFCChameleon_Silk
yea about the name i am just mirroring my friends teamspeak servers name, his name is wankerpants, despite what many may think the meaning is it does not mean this in anyway... we are actually quite mature gamers despite what the title would suggest, were friendly thats about the only similarity... he runs wankercraft.org a minecraft server and teamspeak, hes also my :pilotfly: and we :joystick: together on wankercraft.org.:megalol: its just unfortunate that many people who are into flight sims are from europe where the word is considered much more offensive, cause overseas its a very uncommon thing. in other news i put up 1.06 of bitter rivals, its complete it works as intended and been having a blast with it, not many people come around though and when they do they don't even say hello and just leave! how unfair online gaming can be sometimes! LFCChameleon_Silk
updated version of Bitter Rivals to 1.10, this new version should address a lot of problems and balancing, I put a lot of work into this one to make sure it was as good as i possibly could make it. I also updated the DCS repository with a link to this forum post so that users can find the most up to date version instead of running a very old version, hopefully this is acceptable. =D happy flying. expect a new one soon that will build on this style of mission, in a different locale and with some more advanced waypointing. if the file is still saying 1_06 its because the person hosting it has yet to add it to the files, it should be there soon whenever i can get a hold of him... just kinda jumped the gun and thought he was around to add it. You may have been sold down the river on that but I certainly don't buy it. Anyone that calls themselves wankerpants clearly uses the vile slang word for its absolute meaning. Seeing it in the lobby and plastered on these boards is frankly quite embarrassing for ED and anyone else for that matter. Freedom of speech and all works well with respecting those around you. If you are as mature as you say then surely you can see the mockery in it. LFCChameleon_Silk
look here guy, its a brand name no more offensive then tommy hilfiger or nike, you can take what you like out of it but get your mind out the gutter since i'm not even going there... hes actually a really nice guy... i knew a guy who went by the nickname A hole, but it was actually that his name was a A hole, like in the ground or in a peice of loose leaf, if you called him the vile word he would flip out since that was not his intention nor what he wished to be known for. using your assumption Virginia is not a suitable name for a state and many map locations are completely immature! wankerpants woman frequents the teamspeak and she goes by pinksock, suppose you have something to say about that one as well, or how about my name Chameleon_Silk, maybe i mean silk undies and :helpsmilie: me if i were to live in Intercourse, Pennsylvania. like get real, if your half as mature as you say you are you wouldn't pick fights over a server name, I'm not the one naming my server racial slurs and i really hope that guy does get banned (as thats offensive and immoral). in short take your rainy cloud elsewhere i make missions and just offering to them the community i could easily just have not posted them here and quite frankly when i see how uptight people are all the time it makes me not want to frequent and mingle with other pilots. in the future I'll just name my pack =LFC= and be done with it, ANYWAYS thanks for the bump and thread hijack. if any mods find it that offensive for this "mature" community then feel free to censor it and add =LFC= as its not meant to be inflammatory in anyway which i already stated before and am quite tired of being harassed by englanders that have nothing better to do. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all, your comments about anything other then my mission files are inappropriate and unwelcome as that's not what this thread topic is about. I'd appreciate if you didn't bother responding back as your already pushing the boundaries for no reason other then to see your hot breath. EDIT: and btw wank and wanker are a surname in some parts of the world! you know what they say about assuming something..... Frostie
I can appreciate your missions but I don't appreciate the name of the thread or your server. Considering you express yourself in English on the lobby and this being an English forum visited by women, kids and members kids as well as broadcast on work monitors, then wouldn't it be prudent to be mindful of what are acceptable English words and what are not. This seems like the perfect place to highlight that. i knew a guy who went by the nickname A hole, but it was actually that his name was a A hole, like in the ground or in a peice of loose leaf, if you called him the vile word he would flip out since that was not his intention nor what he wished to be known for. using your assumption Virginia is not a suitable name for a state and many map locations are completely immature! wankerpants woman frequents the teamspeak and she goes by pinksock, suppose you have something to say about that one as well, or how about my name Chameleon_Silk, maybe i mean silk undies and :helpsmilie: me if i were to live in Intercourse, Pennsylvania. Is the guys surname Wanka or Wanker? Most probably not. Pinksock is not a word. It's a slang word not in the dictionary and just by the fact that his woman calls herself this highlights more reason that this guy is making a mockery of the English language and those that read wankercraft, wankerworld etc. or I guess you're going to say she is partial to the odd pink sock.:) Virgin, A hole, silk undies and intercourse are not vulgar English slang words, they are unoffensive words. You're broadcasting in English on English forums, but because someone from the US has decided to name their domain using this word it suddenly becomes fine in your opinion. More fool him for choosing such a word in a desperate attempt to stand out, which would explain why you have to broadcast it in FULL CAPITALS. "[51☭] FROSTIE" #55 51st PVO "BISONS" Fastest MiG pilot in the world - TCR'10 https://100kiap.org
Bahger
You'll have to change the name before I consider downloading the file. LFCChameleon_Silk
ok you i will refrain from personal attacks because thats obviously want you want out of me. you know for a mature bunch you guys are a bunch of hot headed individuals, whats the rating on the game, 4 and up? we're blowing up virtual peoples and your gonna tell me its acceptable to show that to your kids. Forum rules not withstanding you guys just like to hear yourselves talk, the world would be a better place if there weren't so many uptight individuals, and to masturbate is a natural thing that should not be as taboo as it is, ask any sex ed teacher and by you being so up tight about something that is perfectly OK and not vulgar in anyway shows your immaturity. A name is nothing without meaning, the conversation should have stopped about it when i said that's not what it means, I can name my server whatever i want to name my server, If i have to look at a server name using a black racial slur but you guys have your knickers in a knot over a tongue in cheek name, like get real... seriously stop being such lil' snots. if you don't want to check out my missions don't post in my thread, if you dislike the name go away and don't bother to bump it for more to see. you logic is failure, and if you scroll up I've already asked that if its that offensive for it to be renamed and/or adjusted to =LFC= as far as not wanting to check out a mission i designed based off the name you can get bent, leave me alone and stay out of my thread as I have already asked. pretty simple right, change name of the thread for the babies that can't stand to read something they disagree with cause they are clergymen and move on.. something i would like to do but you guys keep discussing a name with gutter minded thoughts. what kind of 12 year old comes on here and read wanker and starts using it offensively, you know you better put some ear muffs on your young one before he leaves the door, as well as a blind fold for the rest of the world. you logic is as stupid as when i got in trouble for having a group on yahoo named hardcore, see what if my younger brother went to school and said he seen hardcore on my pc. like think about it... for a mature bunch you seem like a bunch of squabblin lil brats to me. Bahger
You are just digging an even deeper hole for yourself. Your bad grammar and immature, petulant way of expressing yourself, combined with your thickheaded refusal to understand why people might find the title of your mission tasteless and foolish, conspire to make you look like an idiot and you seem determined to reinforce this perception. Eighteen posts here, and you are telling people in this forum how they are supposed to feel about your vulgarity rather than admit to making a childish error of taste and re-naming your mission. This is a mature community. Most of us are sophisticated simulation enthusiasts and there is a high standard of literacy, education and mature discourse here. People tend to think before they blow off steam and are considerate of each other's sensitivities, especially when, like you, they are new to a community that many of us have belonged to since DCS was founded. This is not a twitch gaming forum or a bunch of raging teenagers. Most people here are mature, articulate and fairly highly educated. Stop raging, consider this a momentary lapse of good taste on your part, apologise for it, and rename your mission. You'll get more downloads that way. I come here to get a break from children, which is why I would never download a mission with a title like yours. I can play Call of Duty if I want that kind of idiocy. Now, consider your behavior before someone gets irritated enough with your foolishness to report you.

That is the problem, the more a word is used freely the more it wrongly becomes accepted as an everyday word. You and your kids are growing up believing you can use this word to whoever you choose without causing offence. Tell me at what stage of your education in English did they teach you this word? The fact is this word derives from a working man culture where beer, abuse and laughs go hand in hand, the same vibe as c*nt, bast*** etc. This is a word i'd use amongst like minded friends when the time is right, if around people I don't know or at a more formal function then using this word would be classed as disrespectful, arrogant and rude. If masterbation is the topic then that is the word to use. You wouldn't use the f word to describe sexual intercourse unless you intentially wanted to appear vulgar or aggressive, this is the same line of expression. This is all about respecting those you're broadcasting to. The mother test should serve you well before announcing to a homogeneous crowd that you don't know personally, if you see no wrong in asking your mother if she w**** then you have a serious lack of respect for anyone but yourself or are lacking in the correct education in the language you are using. If you use this word daily without respect for anyone then this is the reason you don't get invited to any dinner parties. Respect those around you is the point especially when using a foreign language.
