hello gents!

i really want to avoid to use TARGET for my warthog. just plug and play and it works perfectly for the a10 by default...

it works ok for the p51 as well, but there for all those two postion switches on the throttle, you can only assign one function and for the three position switches one can only assign two functions.mostly the middle position isnt recognzied by the game by default.

now i wonder, if its somehow possible, for example with a lua.file, to make use of all the positions the warthog throttle provides.as it works for the a10 by default and without the target software, i assume it has to be possible for other modules like the p51 as well...

ok thx to this guy: JesseJames38 now i know that it is indeed possible to do so!so for me there is absolutely no need anymore to have target installed.thats in fact the only annoying thing about the warthog...the software.

anybody who is interested in this, look at this thread, which may help you out.

I had the same problem and thanks to the Forums got it sorted in the .LUA files. If you are not finished with your profile yet, I have uploaded mine yesterday. Feel free to improve / adjust it to your needs :)

ok, i have one problem now with my newly created lua.profile for the P51....

for all those 2position switches like the fuel booster, landing light and so on, they are out of sync, when my switches on my warthog throttle are in the wrong position before starting the mission.

this was the same with my earlier lua.profile, but there i just had to flip the switch once, which didnt result in any reaction in game,...then it was in the correct position and synched with the game,...if i then flipped the switch once more, it worked in game, and in synch with my actual controller....

now, if the switch is in the wrong position at mission start, and i flip the switch, the game will recognize it and also flip the switch in the cockpit.so it stays out of synch during the whole mission....

anybody knows how to cure that problem?

Hmm, I did not fly the P-51D for a while. But if I remember correctly, when a Switch on the Ramp is out of synch in my profile, when I flip it once it gets in sync.

What I mean:

Warthog Switch is up.

P-51 Switch in Cockpit is up.

I flip the Warthog switch down, then the P-51 Cockpit Switch stays down.

So Switches are in sync again after I flipped them once. At least this is what I remember from using my profile.

You could have a look at my profile. I created On and Off events in the LUA and also the 3-ways switches are working. Maybe you can copy & paste something from my profile if it helps.
