Solo Wing Pixy Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 So, I've tried installing DCS World on every version to date and tried all the fixes i could find and I still get this message:
PatriotCFS Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Did you install the C++ that was prompted during the install? The date inthe installer looks old, but you have to install it or you will get that error.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled both version of C++ 2010 multiple times now.*Edit* I've been troubleshooting all morning and have found out that, like many others, I can't uninstall a version of the vc_redist x64 to allow the version the game has to install, working on that now.*Edit 2*Basically during some agressive cleanup one of the VC files got delted, so it will not properly uninstall, nor can I install a different version. Suggestions anyone? I would like to get this working so I can finally get more of the DCS Modules. Edited March 25, 2013 by Solo Wing Pixy
Solo Wing Pixy Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 I believe it is solved, had to do a lot of research and editing the .exe, thanks Patriot*CFS* for setting me on the right track. :D
