ENO Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Quick and to the point for once... What threat is this? "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
narfnarf Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I guess it is Aegis. Probably a Ticonderoga class vessel or something like this. But actually I don't know. This reminds me that DCS is missing a proper US destroyer...
ENO Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 Actually that makes sense! Thanks! "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
ENO Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 Thanks. I had my Iwarthog ap and browsed a couple more guides but that one looks much more complete. I thought the ihog one was based on the main manual- maybe not! Anyway- thanks again. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
Essah Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 so whats the conclusion? what's AE? Don't see it in the threat guide.

ENO Posted March 29, 2013 Author Posted March 29, 2013 Well aegis is the probable answer and I should have thought of that because I'd just recently put an aegis and two ohp class frigates up in that area. I'd put them there as a bit of an afterthought to add some activity in the "world" and forgot about them. There are a variety of airborne threats in the area as well- so I thought it was an error because it didn't fit with any of the aircraft I'd had in the mission. Also I get a 49 on the receiver- which I'm assuming is the ohp an/sps 49 radar. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. "Sweetest's" Military Aviation Art
