StarMax Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Hi, my X52Pro has a problem in Flaming Cliff 3 (DCS). All switches are functionals but not the axis, DCS is feeling it like a keybord...in all others flight sims is perfectly operating. :joystick: If I open Options/Controls/Axis the aircrafts controls disappears. If I connect another joystick they pop up again  Anyone can help me ? Many thanks and happy Easter
zaelu Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) try to go to you "User files\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\" make a copy for back up of all your folders and files in there... copy them somewhere or keep Ctrl pressed and drag that "input" folder a bit lower in the same window in an empty space so you create a copy of it with "input copy" name or... simply archive it with Winrar or winzip with right click... add to archive.. then delete all the folders from there to recycle bin (not the backups)... so you have even one more backup (as you can simply hit restore from there). Then start the game... it will automatically recreate your files... but make sure that your stick is plugged in and all working in device manager. Alternatively you can enter the "Input" folder and pick one plane folder from there... say F15C and enter it then open your joystick config file and see what is saying... or if there is any config file for your joystick in the first place. See attachement how it should look and if you want to "edit" or see them make sure you open them with Notepad++ only not Word or Notepad as those can corrupt your files because of local encoding.
