Hello all,

After almost 3 months and some 350 manhours of hard labour, I'm proud to release the FINAL version of my modded Scenery file.

Download high.scn final1 here:

http://rapidshare.de/files/13528346/high-scn_final_1.zip.html

For slower PC's I also made a medium scnery file.

http://rapidshare.de/files/13528983/medium-scn_final_1.zip.html

Anyone is invited to mirror the files.

Installation:

- Move file high.scn and/or medium.scn in folder ..lockon\bazar\terrain\scenes to a safe location.

- Unzip file high.scn and/or medium.scn into the mentioned folder.

- Start lockon and select scenes=high in the graphics menu and FLY!

Contents:

The modd adds about 1900 objects. Some 1500 of them are tree formations. All objects are positioned on and around airbases and surrounding towns. In addition I've created something extra:

- Industrial site (45°49'22"N - 33°31'34"E)

- Armour storage fascillity (45°38'19"N - 34°28'48"E)

- Scout grass-airfield (43°31'00"N - 43°36'48"E)

- Seperatists hide-out (43°08'24"N - 41°56'23"E)

- Seperatists hide-out (43°23'27"N - 41°18'08"E)

I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I do and look forward to seeing the additions in your screens and movies.

Cheers,

Birdy

You did it in the end. Very nice mod and I see this time the FPS is not going down that much although I need to test more.

I hope when 1.2 is out it will be no trouble to mod the mod :) because of the new trees.

Good work, thanks for your time.

I found this pic of some new type trees for lomac Black Shark (i think it was on lockonfies.com which is down right now). only reason I have the pic is because i had e-mailed to my brother and found it in my sent messages. I love the tree mod, its awesome. I wonder if there will be any conflict with this new stye "unreal engine" trees.

Well crap, that didnt come out. I'll try to figure out how to get the pic on here

couldnt figure it out. maybe someone else has seen the pic on another site and can post it. It looks very cool. really look ing forward to 1.2 Black Shark

Because it is on your hard drive. You need to upload the pic onto a website (eg http://tinypic.com/) and then link from that. I use tinypic for my Sig, right click on it and check the properies and you will see the "tiny" url reference

I wonder if there will be any conflict with this new stye "unreal engine" trees.

I read somewhere that these new trees will only be made visible if player comes close to the trees. That means that the original trees will still be used. Therefor can only assume that the scenery file is not changed as far as trees are concerned.

I guess the whole structure of the scenery file will remain the same and it should still be possible to edit it.

We have to wait and see.

Thanks Brit Radar Dude for the cool link. That will help me out on several other sites that have asked me for a url when I wanted to post a pic. No one had taken the time to share that info, Thanks again.
