leafer
Not really a hobby but I do it because I want to. Except my wife n two kids, I have no human friends because I keep run out of things to say to people that's not inside the monitor. With animals I ain't gotta talk to them. :D She is one of the strays that roam around under the resort where I work. I work at pullman phuket arcadia and it's a beautiful place with spectacular ocean view and I love working here. People spent a fortune to stay here and I just wish management would get some program going for the stray cats and dogs. I mean they just built a massive resort on top of their home so it's the least they can do. Anyway, the photos speak for itself. She's sick and probably won't make it even if I had money to spend, doctor actually said this to me. But the kicker is the vets here won't euthanize suffering animals. How can they look at her and say well, we have moral obligation to try and save a life even though I can't afford what they charge and she'll end up dying anyway. I'm just really upset with these bleep bleep vets and I just wanted to vent. Those things floating in the metal tray are maggots that were in her left eye. Poor thing, man. First three pics were taken at the vet n last three in the back of my apartment. No, I don't need a pat on the back. Been doing this forever, but this is only the second time I asked a vet to put an animal down and she refused. Sigh... leafer
I think it's canine distemper in english. She's not going to make it. I'll try to feed and look after her for a few more days if she doesn't get better I've found an animal shelter willing to put her down for free. In fact I just came back from the shelter and it's run by Australian guy. huh. Nice man. ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P
bumfire
Looks like she needs a constant IV to help her get better and get fluids into her. Your doing a great thing leafer.
leafer
She's gone. She was just lying there motionless for most of the time. Her breathing was weird and once in a while she would raise her head and whimper. I didn't know if she was in pain and just plain couldn't watch her like that, so I took her to the shelter and had her euthanize. She went peacefully. Being a stray dog sucks I imagine. Cats are more resourceful and are quicker to get out of harms way. Dogs are easy targets because they seek love from humans and some of these locals target animals. Bastards. I spoke to a lady at the shelter and the terrible things people do to them. I wish I have a huey - I'd volunteer gunner. RIPTIDE
Looks like she needs a constant IV to help her get better and get fluids into her. Your doing a great thing leafer. Distemper is 'game over' for dogs and any other wild animal that gets it. Even if they survive they are forever screwed up. Permanent pain most of the time after it. :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Fjordmonkey
The world needs more people like you, Leafer, that care about those that cannot care for themselves, be they animals or humans. Major kudos & mad props to you! Regards Fjordmonkey Clustermunitions is just another way of saying that you don't like someone. I used to like people, then people ruined that for me. monotwix
Look what some people see. Russian road rage has gone totally nuts in this vio, no compassion for action viewers. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
leafer
Thanks, peeps, much appreciated them kind words. :) But really this is only the second time I had to spend serious money for them.
