SA Tour 2013 - Operation: Phoenix's Nest

So many fighters :|

You will have to synchronize with NFI and 138th, they will be operating 7 F-15's to gain air superiority. JJ can focus on SEAD on his 25T while you engage the rest of the ground units. Zombie on his 27 could go multirole and assist on both air-to air and air-to-ground, just one possible tactic.

Anyway, it looks like we are going to have one team with more air superiority versus one more balanced team which is interesting, the question will be how to capitalize on own strengths and enemy's weaknesses.

Yes slots are filled as requested (from the registration forms) .Both sides will have to capture the city of Ochamchira.

So maybe the Teams can decide to change fighter types after they discuss their tactics in the planning rooms. ;)

Please start thinking of a proper strategy within your Teams.

There will be a test run this Friday so both sides will have a better view .

Just saying that since objective is to capture a city, having mainly air superiority fighters seems kinda silly.

I wouldn't say that. Capturing Ochamchira will require your ground commander to move his units inside the city. But to do so, he will need to keep his battalion out of enemy's bombers reach and this is when air superiority will become a critical factor. Your fighters have to push as deep as possible towards Ochamchira and the Ground commander will have to synchronize accordingly. It will most likely be your opponents tactic as well. It always comes down to Air Superiority.

I was thinking about putting myself in for pilot of KA-50 as my level is decent not but not comfortable going head to head with other players likely a'lot better if you do something in the future where it's a team against AI look me up.

Hope this go's well for everyone involved.

Hi mate, there is no better opportunity to improve than going PvP. AI is good to practice avionics and basics but will not make you a better pilot. Loosing against experienced players will make you a better pilot.

Welcome Axion! As Greg said, there is one or 2 remaining CAS red slots. If you would like to to go for a different role, then you can still do it, we will keep you on the wait list in case someone pulls out.

I was wondering why are no short range radar sams avaible for GC?

Now that radar emmision on/off works it would be interesting. Also with all this hardware on th BF is a must.

I suggest Roland/Gepard for blue

SA 19 for red

3 units would do... exchange for 2 IR sams?
