S77th-RYKE Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Playing online I have noticed that when the debriefing gets around 30 pages long my game slows to a crawl and it's slide show city ... Any way to turn off debriefing alltogether on client side or limit the size of it ? if someone else experience this please confirm Thanks [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/madmaxx69/LOMAC/Rykesig1.jpg[/sIGPIC] Savage 77th , http://s77th.com |Core i7 920|Asus P6T Deluxe V2|GTX 285|9600GT-OC|6G DDR3|Softh on 3x22"CRTs|Tir2|yeahIsaidTir2|X-45|Haf 932|Vista Ultimate 64|
Ice Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 You can by-pass the debrief by recording your track and cancelling when it asks you to save. As fas as the slow frame rates. Quitting and reflying rather than recovering will clean up the grabage on the map and frames should be normal again.
S77th-RYKE Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 so, if what makes it laggy is the accumulated garbage on the map coupled to many debriefing pages , maybe there is way for ED to make the game erase previous events after a certain lenght of time , kinda like those bullet marks/bodys vanishing in shooter games . anything that would help keep the game fluid even many hours in , would be appreciated :) [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/madmaxx69/LOMAC/Rykesig1.jpg[/sIGPIC] Savage 77th , http://s77th.com |Core i7 920|Asus P6T Deluxe V2|GTX 285|9600GT-OC|6G DDR3|Softh on 3x22"CRTs|Tir2|yeahIsaidTir2|X-45|Haf 932|Vista Ultimate 64|
