eatc7402 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Being a newbie to TARGET programing could point out a simple example that would script a T-1600 joystick into a W-A-D keystroke generator . W=forward, A=left, D=right keystrokes in simple games that have no built in joystick support. Thanks. eatc7402
dburne Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 The Target GUI can appear somewhat intimidating at first, however I found it fairly intuitive after I read through the Target Manual a couple of times, and left the manual open on the screen as I worked through my first profile I created. Simply programming a button to generate a keyboard key is very easy, I suspect you would want to set the command as a "hold" type, so as you hold the joystick button it continues to repeat the key command. I would urge you to open the Target manual and have a good read through the GUI section, once you get the hang of it developing joystick profiles becomes fairly easy.
