JCook Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 There is an increase / decrease slider next to the right engine throttle on the ThrustMaster WartHog HOTAS - as far as I know mine isn't mapped to anything. I would like to assign this to have the function of increasing or decreasing my external view - like the zoom feature on a camera. By this I mean when trying to identify something on the ground this control would allow zooming in / out to view things. Is this possible?
Darkwolf187 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Note that when you assign it, you'll need to select the Throttle controller, then under Axis assign, move the slider around and it just gets detected. It works fine. Although I often find I have to press 5 on the numeric keypad before it'll start working for some reason.
jay43 Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I find using that is very twitchy and gives me a headache. Eagles may soar high but weasel's don't get sucked into jet engines. System Spec. There is acutally a problem with the latest Warthog Throttle Firmware LEDs and that analog wheel. Only solution I know is to turn the Throttle's LEDs either to Full Brightness or Off and the spiking stops.
