Hi,

thats the problem with non calibrated displays. The same hex or RGB value shows a different color on each display, depending on graphic-driver, operating system, display type and settings.

 

Something to read about color-management.

 

I think the color is not so bright red as it looks on some pictures.

This picture shows the more real color.

 

And then I am not so far away with my red.

I have an ATI 7950...

 

HDR is normal in game!

 

Colour was added via photoshop CS6. Just did a quick replacement colour and painted the skin, nothing fancy.

 

Colour is same in game and in windows.

In first I would like to thanks Upuaut for your link it's very awesome but not easy to understand...

Upuaut with your last two screenshots I can say just one thing: Yes you have the good color.

 

Marker, I've tested your repaint and I join you one screenshot of the result, of course it's a Copyright of Upuaut...

 

 

My HDR is OFF and I use this display: ASUS 27" LCD VG278H 3D

Looking at upuat's last pic, I think he has got it spot on...

 

The problem a he has already stated is uncalibrated displays and displays using different formats. Infact it can be even skinners using different profiles within photoshop or their skinning prog.
