warthogmadman987 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I am attempting at making a profile for my x52. I understand everything except what they call macros. How does it work, what does it do. I dont understand the manual. Could someone explain it and give me an example implemented into lockon. I am confused with it  Thanks for the help
Pilotasso Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 I heve a few for my ECM hehehehe dirty stuff. Open the profile editor and over any slot corresponding to the button of your choice press the right mouse button and then choose macros. Press any combo of keys, and then the sequence will be repeated in game. For example lets pretent you wanna automate a button for saying "buddy spike" message for all of the people from your team flying online. Do the procedure above to choose the button and then press: alt+m,b,u,d,y,[space],s,p,y,k,e,[enter],alt+m, in this sucession. Remenber that this command will be as slow as you when imputing this on the editor, since it records anything you do through time untill you press the red spot on that window. You can even start the SU-25T with only 1 button as long as you remenber the correct timing to wich press all the button sequence. .
Sleek Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 alt+m,b,u,d,y,[space],s,p,y,k,e,[enter],alt+m. i never thought of putting ingame MP chat in my profile like that..cool idea. p.s do ya need the commas between letter's? Be Good..Be Strong..:drink: ;)
warthogmadman987 Posted January 7, 2006 Author Posted January 7, 2006 That helps a lot, but ya do you have to have the commas?
Pilotasso Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 yea, I used commas just to seperate the keys in the text...and I dont use chat like the example above simply because I only have radar and weapons commands programed in my x52. I would If I had as many buttons as the CH. And I donne my proflie in such a way that I dont need to swich modes or use the pinkie shift to access all the needed functions to engage a target. Speed of engagement is of essential importance. I use modes for swiching the complete key setup for a specific aircraft. Mode1=F-15, Mode2= SU-27/Mig, Mode 3=A-10/SU25 .
Pilotasso Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 At gazehound's request heres a profile. Its abit green yet. I have still 1 mode left to do for the air to ground planes. My profile needs the cockpit mouse view to work fully, that is if you dont have track IR. If you do ignore this and give the mouse ministick another function. Also dont forget to set the slider to radar range ingame. This is important. BEWARE: extremely alien profile, not for the sensitive minds. .
Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 ah fux the mp chat, use ts instead :p
