RazorbackNL
Since 1.2.6 the in cockpit engine noise volume has been increased. Does one know how to lower this a bit. It cannot be done within the options/audio menu because the in cockpit option is for all the sound, including the switch click sounds. I just need the engine noise a little tuned down. monkie
the quickest way would be to find that sound in the sounds folder and run it through a program called "Audacity" which is a freeware audio editor. You can decrease volume, resave the file and insert it back into the sounds folder. El_Marta
I am also not fond of this sound. Have a lot of dust absorbers and vacuum cleaners in the workshop all day long. If we could at least get rid of this high pitch whining, it will be better. I will try what I can do with my soundcards equalizer.

monkie
Has anyone taken a look at the .sdef file or the actual .wav file to see if in fact the Huey sound was changed in 1.2.6?
