Apache texturing help needed

Can someone please tell me if this is a texture issue and what texture I need to work with to correct this? I was editing the textures and I think I might have messed up an alpha layer or something.

As you can see the cockpit displays which should be green are showing white and what I assume is a formation light on the pylon is also showing white.

thanks for any help.

The cockpit displays are supposed to be white? please look again. I edited the textures and think I might have messed up an alpha layer. I'm assuming these should be green CRT's as well as a green formation strip?

The formation light is green when it's on, but a very pale green. In daylight, it's is barely noticeable as green, and that's only if you know it is supposed to be green at night when it's on (in my opinion). I think most people would say it's sort of an off-white with a hint (tiny hint) of green.

With regard to the displays in the cockpit ... yeah, the screens should be greener.

The APR-39 display should definitely be green. Then there are some display-looking things in there that should probably be black? Not really sure what you have going on in the cockpit there.

Will post screens when I get off work, but the Pit displays have always been white for me.

the only time I've seen them colored was in a 3rd party Promo Video, dont remember which one.

It shows up when you set the lod2 model for close in views. You can test it by adding a new line pointing to the ah-64a_lod2.edm and switch it on/off at 20m.

model = {

lods = {

{"ah-64a_lod2.edm",20.000000},

{"ah-64a.edm",50.000000},

{"ah-64a_lod1.edm",100.000000},

{"ah-64a_lod2.edm",200.000000},

{"ah-64a_lod3.edm",300.000000},

{"ah-64a_lod4.edm",400.000000},

{"ah-64a_lod5.edm",5000.000000},

{"ld_tec.edm",10000.000000},

},

collision_shell = "ah-64a-collision.edm",

}
