[DCSW: Mi-8MTV2] English Cockpit Mod

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

An information:

This mod is updated according to some real documents Belsimtek has sent me.

I updated cockpit and re-send it to Belsimtek. I hope they will integrate updated one into DCS World.

Then I'll update Black Cockpit version.

Thank you.

DOWNLOAD: DCS World Mi-8MTV2 English Cockpit Mod v1.9c | Updated: 05/2017

(Compatible with DCS World v1.5.4 or higher)

CHANGELOG:

V1.9c: Fixed some translatings according to Mi-17's Technical (Operator's) Manual given by Belsimtek. Fixed MipMaps (05/2017).

Actually, this version has been sent to Belsimtek three months ago, but I guess they're very busy on other projects.

Thank you.

Hello, I have been absent for 2 years and have juste reinstalled the Mi-8.

As I understand Devrim's english cockpit is now fully part of the Mi-8 and not a separate MOD anymore.

If so, congratulations Devrim! And many thanks!

Thank you Simicro.

Yes, it has become a part of the module, but you may download latest version of this mod, because Belsimtek may have not buried this version into the module (I didn't check it again tho).

Thanks again. :)

Hi guys.

Except for future fixes, this version may be the end of this mod. I'll send PSD files of this version to Belsimtek. After they include it into Mi-8 module, I'll hang this mod.

Hav fun.

It is not OvGME compatible. All you need to do is move the files over to the Saved Games folder > DCS > Liveries.

Open the zip (my mod) file.

Copy (or hold & drag) "Liveries" folder (from my mod) into "C:\Users\{your-user-name}\Saved Games\DCS" folder and overwrite.

Thanks. Just asking because OvGME also applies mods by changing the original target files and folders to the modded ones back and forth. So by changing the folder structure I think you can make it OvGME compatible?

This works with OvGME as long as it is set up correctly, no idea what LevelPulse is about.

Thanks, I guessed so. Main thing is, in OvGME the "Configuration root folder" should point to the User/.../Saved Games/DCS.openbeta folder.

Great work Devrim! Could OvGME compatibility be mentioned maybe on the ED User file download page, or in the Readme.txt? Or let's good old Darwin sort this out?... :music_whistling:

there's no need to use OvGME for liveries (the mod in this case). It goes in the SAved games folder in which it doesn't fail integrity check. No idea what you are going on about.
