AhSoul
I'm probably doing something obviously wrong, but since getting BS2 a couple of nights ago, nearly every flight I try ends up with me losing all my rotor blades and crashing. I've not figured out a pattern of what I'm doing at the time to make it happen, but is there a standard cause that you more seasons pilots know about? I've got the throttle set to Auto (which is just before the gate lifts up right?) and it seems to happen randomly when pitching or rolling. BTW I had a look in the Training section but doesn't look like there are interactive training like in the A-10C. I assume the 'Install (EN)' option is going to install videos like with the SU-25? AhSoul
Thanks! So basically you can't be too aggressive with it? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread
sobek
You can throw it around quite aggressively but there are certain combinations of inputs that you need to avoid. Keep the things Nate mentions in that post in mind and you'll develop a good feeling for what you can or can't do (usually that involves crashing a lot, though :)). This shows you what can be done if you know what not to do. Edited September 26, 2013 by sobek Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives! AhSoul
Thanks mate. I've always been a fixed-wing guy so this is all quite different :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread
sobek
If you have experienced a rotor intersection and are not sure what caused it, post the track file so the community can take a look at it and tell you what went wrong. Bexx0r
Man, you're on fire, right? I just answered a question of yours in the A-10 section. I lift my hat for you, learning A-10 and KA-50, simultaneously! :smartass: Cheers! Bexx0r ......................................................... EtherealN
Man, you're on fire, right? Considering he had rotor intersections and (presumably) slammed into the ground... Yeah, he probably was on fire. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
AhSoul
LOL Thanks! BTW I'm learning the P-51 as well :D They were on sale so took advantage and it's nice to have a break from the A-10 to try new stuff out. I'm getting the hang of the Ka-50 trimmer button and using the autopilot so I've not shredded blades for a bit now ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Soul's pit thread
