FZG_Immel
Hey guys. Yesterday i bought the Mi-8 too, so i had to update DCS world ! Nice surprise to see I could have a slick Huey by selecting transport as a task ! very nice.. I just have a few issues since the update though.. My "corrector" or throttle on the collective isnt working anymore.. Though the good axis is assigned in the options, when i move it in game, nothing is happening. I have to use the mouse to manually rotate it in the cockpit ! is this a known bug ? Another impression.. is it me or the huey became less responsive and more heavy on the colletive ? thanks a lot for your answers ! cichlidfan
If you imported your control configs from v1.2.5 that could be causing your problem. I thought I had read that there were some changes to the Huey controller luas. You might try renaming the Huey input folder in Saved Games, and try a fresh assignment as a test. Flagrum
mmm could this be my problem and solution ??? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113516 Yes, most likely. That posting covers the main issues with the current Huey. Besides that you will encounter some still unsolved problems: missing sounds (bullet impact, firing minigun or rockets) long spool up delay for the minigun liveries messed up But flying the Huey with the new collective is a blast (for me). So much more stable in every situation - esp. at landing aproaches (risk of VRS).

lorenzoj
Hmmm..... I was assuming having to manually increase the throttle after auto startup was a bug in 1.2.6 Edited September 29, 2013 by lorenzoj
BRooDJeRo
It's just automatic key mapping. I had to set the following manually: - Collective - Throttle - Autopilot change from LWIN-A to RCTRL-A. It's the old and standard DCS AP keymap and is unused in the Huey. The LWIN key doesn't seem to function correctly on a G15 keyboard when running DCS and does zip. Edited September 30, 2013 by BRooDJeRo
