MP server kicked me out once I alt+tab switched to desktop

These happened after 1.2.6 update 1. Never happened on 1.2.5.

After joining a server, I alt+tab switched to desktop for a few tens of seconds.

Then I switched back and found I was kicked out....

 

Is this due to server configuration or DCS software issue (switched out, DCS is not active, then shutdown the connection (or not ping host to keep the connection), then server kicked client out)?

That will solve this issue: In Game-Options, turn off the "Full Screen"-Mode.

I think there is a set time limit of how long you can be alt tabbed out of. I think it was something from 30-60 seconds. Probably to prevent players beeing afk on the server, while surfing the web. Altough it also could be a software side issue.

However, if you want to be alt tabbed out of the game, just run it in 'windowed mode'. That one dosen't change anything to the looks of the game. However it is faster tabbing in and out of the game and it also overcomes that server time limit.

The reason I did not use window-mode is that I used mouse to change the view, so in window mode, the mouse can be easily moved outside the window.
