DCS won't load at all

I downloaded DCS along with the UH-1 package, and so far haven't been able to even get the program started. I've updated and repaired probably 10 times now (including today), and always get the same message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application."

 

I submitted a support ticket 8 days ago and haven't heard anything back.

 

I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit) with 8GB RAM. I have Zone Alarm, and have given DCS all privileges there. Any ideas what might be wrong here?

 

And I have uninstalled and re-installed a couple of times.

Not sure if you eventually sorted your problem but after weeks of fiddling I've sorted out my one with same error code.

I found some of the Forum help good but the official ticket pathetic..
