Namenlos Ein Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 (edited) Tank Biathlon The first such contests ran in several of Russia's Military Districts with final part taking place at the Alabino proving ground on 2013 August 11–17, with crews from Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia invited for the contest. On a meeting between heads of Russian Federation and USA defense ministries the American side confirmed its participation in a tank biathlon contest which will eventually take place in 2014. Pyroflash Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) It'll be interesting to see who, exactly, from our part of the globe is participating in these trials. Also interesting is how the M1's are going to fare against the T-90SM's. It's also a pity that we will likely see the U.S Army/MC bring their A-Game crews with stripped down tanks. Definitely not combat conditions, but I'd be willing to bet that a lot of the ERA and TUSK gear is going to go away in favor of less weight.
